Vegan Dumpling Cooking Class at The Community Services Center, Taipei
Roll up your sleeves and dive into the delicious world of dumplings in this immersive, hands-on class perfect for food lovers of all skill levels! Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned home cook, you’ll learn how to make naturally dyed dumpling wrappers from scratch (yes, it’s easier than you think!), try your hand with a variety of folding techniques, explore different cooking methods, and enjoy them with a chili oil tasting station.
Come hungry and leave happy—with a belly full of dumplings and the skills to recreate the magic at home. Gather your friends, co-workers, or make it a solo culinary adventure—you’re in for a flavorful, feel-good experience!

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
For One-Time Events: Cancellations made 07 or more full calendar days in advance: Full refund. (Example: An registration for a Thursday event must be cancelled by the Wednesday prior.) Refunds will be processed via the payment method originally submitted. A NT$50 processing fee applies if the refund is made via bank transfer. Cancellations made within 07 days or no-shows are non-refundable.
Transfers (i.e. an alternate participant attends the event/class) are permitted only with customer communication and subsequent confirmation by the Center. Substitutions (i.e. applying the fee to a different event/class) are not allowed.

Through the introduction of a tea friend, I had the pleasure of meeting Tiff Kuo — an aesthetic and passionate baker in Taipei. I am honored to host a dumpling class at her cozy kitchen studio on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 | 14:00–16:00
This hands-on workshop begins with making naturally dyed dumpling wrappers from scratch. Participants will learn a variety of dumpling folds and different cooking methods. We will make dumplings with prepare three vegan fillings — Money Bag Dumplings, Mushroom Xiao Long Bao 小笼包 , and Gok Jai 角仔, a crispy sweet dumpling filled with peanuts and coconut.
Workshop Includes:
• Dumpling wrapper making & natural coloring
• Demonstration and practice of 5 folding techniques
• Three vegan dumpling filling recipes
• One tea beverage and tea treat
